A dream come true!
I have wanted a bidet for years but there is simply no room in my bathroom. Id heard and read about this type of toilet seat but was hesitant to spend the money on an unknown item.
However on vacation this summer I visited a spa where they had this wonderful bidet/toilet seat and I tried it out. It was LOVE at first wash!!! I promptly went shopping for the exact model I tried out.
The features are great. You can adjust the pressure direction temperature and action (oscillation or pulse) of the water. It actually even deodorizes itself and has an energy saver feature. The primary buttons are Stop Rear wash Soft rear wash Front wash and Dry. Nothing like walking away from the toilet feeling fresh and clean every time. And the seat (which is also heated) and lid are also antibacterial and simply wipe clean.
The control panel can be put anywhere that is convenient. It is completely wireless. And it comes off of its mount to make adjustment :2010-09-15 04:20:29
Excellent but the dryer *does not work*
First off I would buy this bidet seat again (and in fact I may for the other bathroom). Having this kind of hygiene especially before bed at night is a big health benefit.
If youre ever in a hurry and gotta do a #2 these washlets are gems.
I also like using it before going in our hot tub to keep it that much cleaner. Ever since I heard my hot tub man refer to the scum in the tub feeding on "bather waste" (a term I find equally gross and hilarious at the same time) Ive been more conscientious about being clean prior to using it.
Coming from a guy who has wrenched on a lot of things for a long time the S300 is a fairly sophisticated device and Toto did an excellent job with their template mounting and installation instructions. Beware though that this is in the neighborhood of a 1200 watt appliance (the C110 is less than 1/2 that). Not your kind of cleaning device?
Its easy to install and operate. This thing does the job it cleaned your stuff and removed the odor from the waste you dumped. However there is a little problem with the water aiming even with the adjustment I have to move back and forwth just a little to get to the right spot if you know what I mean... Why didnt an American company invent this wonderful device? I knew my wife would like this version of a bidet but Ive been amazed at how helpful it is to me also. Its easy to use its comfortable and it gets the job done! We are on a septic system so I am very glad for a major reduction in the use of toilet paper.
I did pay a local plumbingelectrical company to install the required electrical outlet and the new Toto toilet with the Washlet option. It cost more but I wanted to be sure everything was as it should be. I judge my expenditures based on the value I get for the price; Washlet S300 has been the best money I have spent in a long time. I encourage other penny-pinchers who are wavering about spending this much for a toilet device to find a reputable supplierinstaller and go for it! Thank you Japan!! :2010-09-15 04:20:35
Toto S300
I like the Toto S300 and it is certainly well known. I have had it for 3 weeks or so now. In the US there really is no places to test these out so reviews are important.
I have a few small complaints:
1) I wish the move range was a bit larger it seems like you have to compensate by moving your bottom around while its spraying to get everything.
2) I wish the top cover was harder so you could sit on it closed.
For my second toilet I chose to get a Coway BA-13 (similarly priced) because it had a Wide spray option on the remote and stainless steel sprayers.

Tushie Bliss
Beautifully designed. Installation easy to follow and easy to do but it take a little longer than you might think because of all the connections. Works great.
I enjoy the irony of now having a toilet with a big red warning label on the inside of the lid that says "Do not get water on this appliance." (Its a peel-off label but Im keeping it because it makes me giggle.)
CAUTION: At one point in the installation instructions it tells you to test the spray function by pressing the start button. MAKE SURE YOU COVER THE SPRAY OPENING WITH YOUR HAND BEFORE DOING THIS or you will get sprayed in the face with toilet water. They really should warn you...
